Fundraiser raffle for Tea Fire Dept. kicks off this month

The Tea Volunteer Fire Department typically hosts a fundraiser in October — the Dueling Duo fundraiser, this year though because of COVID-19, the annual event has been canceled.

Instead, businesses in Tea, with the blessing of the Fire Dept. have come together to hold a fundraiser raffle to raise funds for the local volunteers.

There are six locations in Tea that will be selling raffle tickets for various donated items, each location has specific and different items that will be drawn for, so those who participate will want to check each location. All items are showcased online at www.facebook.com/TVFDRaffle.

Raffle tickets may be purchased during the month of September at these Tea locations: Casey’s General Store, Explorers Credit Union, Fareway, Reliabank, Sherwin-Williams, and Squealer’s Smoke Shack. All money raised through raffle ticket sales will go to the Tea Volunteer Fire Department. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase now through September 30, with the drawing to be held live on the Facebook page on October 5, 2020.

View all six raffle albums on Facebook to see all of the items available to win. Tickets purchased at one location will only be eligible to be drawn for the items listed at that location.
