GrandStay welcomed with ribbon cutting

The Tea Economic Development Corporation welcomed one of its newest members, GrandStay Hotel & Suites, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 9.

The 50-room hotel is located at the southeast corner of 271st Street and Heritage Parkway. It is the first business to occupy the 38-acre Gateway Park Addition owned by local developer Arlyn Olsen and his wife, Cheryl.

The Olsens will share ownership of the hotel with Tea Hospitality, LLC and management responsibilities will be divided between Arlyn and Cheryl’s son, Eric, and GrandStay Hospitality, LLC.

Angie Munce of Tea will serve as the on-site general manager and lead a staff of 16. She brings over 25 years of hospitality and facility management experience to the role.
