Shifting into overdrive: Successful auto supply wholesaler expands in Tea

Bob Weisser went into business for himself as an automotive supplies wholesaler in 1978. For many years, his car was his office and his garage was the company warehouse.

“He was a one-man show for over 35 years, going door to door to build relationships with shops all over the region,” said Jason Reisdorfer, Weisser Distributing’s Director of Operations.

In 2011, Weisser Distributing hit $1 million in sales for the first year since the company’s start. Eric and his sister, Jill Weisser-Pekoske, both had a hand in helping their father with the company when they were younger, but now both have full-time roles in the family business.
