Police search for suspect

Police are looking for a robbery suspect who attempted to steal cash Wednesday morning at about 1:20 a.m. from the Roadway Express Stop on 271st Street just off the Tea exit at Interstate 29.

The suspect is described as a white male 25 to 30 years of age, 5’8 to 5’10, weighing around 200 pounds, with facial hair on chin and as having short or no hair.

He was wearing a dark colored baseball hat with an Under Armour logo, a light colored tee shirt, dark colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored shorts. The vehicle the suspect left the scene in is described as possibly being a maroon, late model Ford Taurus or Ford 500 with fog lights, a sun roof and no front license plate.
