Babb signs with Augustana University after record-breaking career at Tea Area

The Lincoln County Commissioners met Thursday, Nov. 13 in the Lincoln County Boardroom. Commissioners heard agenda items, including the first reading of zoning ordinances, an update on the food drive, and discussions on rules and procedures. Groundbreaking to held for new Culver’s in Tea

The 18th Annual Sioux Falls Jingle Bell Run will take place Friday, Nov. 28 at Fawick Park, and for Tea Area High School graduate Taylor Van Emmerik, the event remains deeply personal. School board approves land purchase
The Tea Area School Board met Nov. 10 and approved the land purchase for a future middle school. Operations manager Wayne Larsen updated the board on the land purchase of 21.5 acres for a future middle school. Tea Area wins Middle School Fall Ball Division Championship
The Tea Area Middle School Team capped off a great season by winning their division in the Middle School Fall Ball end of season tournament. The team, which was composed of seventh and eighth graders, put together a fantastic season finishing 9-3. They went undefeated in the tournament, and were led with strong pitching, defense, and timely hitting to win their division. They faced teams throughout the eastern part of South Dakota, and finished with a 5-3 win over Yankton.

Titans face off in Pee Wee I Championship
South Dakota Jr. Football 3/4th grade Pee Wee I Championship game was the 116-Tea and 117-Cosand Construction Company. The two hometown teams played at Augustana University Football Field on Oct 25. Tea Vet Clinic welcomes Dr. Robin Gades to the team
A new vet has joined the team at the Tea Vet Clinic bringing with her knowledge of both large and small animals. Dr. Robin Gades (pictured at right) stepped into her new role as Veterinarian for the Tea Vet Clinic.
