TACF grant applications due this Friday
The Tea Area Community Foundation (TACF) is accepting grant applications now until this Friday, Mar. 27 from Tea area non-profit organizations. Up to $15,000 is available and grants will be awarded in April. Titans finish seventh in historic first Class AA State appearance
For only the second time in school history, and for the first time in Class AA, the Tea Area High School girls’ basketball team punched their ticket to State last week with a SoDak 16 win over Harrisburg. The victory sent the Titans to the State AA Tournament held in Rapid City on Thursday, Mar. 12 through Saturday, Mar. 14. Kamps places fifth at State AA Powerlifting
Addison Kamps, a junior from Tea Area High School, competed in the 123-pound class at the South Dakota Class AA Powerlifting Championships held Saturday, Mar. 14, at Sioux Falls Roosevelt. Kamps managed to reach the podium with a fifth-place finish. Her three-lift total was 495 pounds.

City Council hears police department annual report
The Tea City Council met March 16 first as a board of equalization and then for their regular council meeting. The board reviewed two appeals as a board of equalization where they adjourned at 6:23 p.m. Then they opened their regular council meeting at 6:24 p.m. Police Chief Jessica Quigley presented her annual report to the council.
