Woodring caps historic career with 138-pound State Title
Tyler Woodring cemented his legacy as one of the greatest wrestlers in Tea Area High School history, capturing the 138-pound Class A State Championship at the SDHSAA State Wrestling Tournament held Feb. 26-28 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Titan boys to face Spearfish in SoDak 16

The Tea Area High School girls’ basketball team ended their regular season with a 65-39 loss to Sioux Falls Washington on Feb. 24. Tea Area trailed early and were unable to battle back. The Tea Area High School Educators Rising Chapter delivered a record-setting performance at the annual state conference held Feb. 22-23 at Black Hills State University in Spearfish. Council approves two ordinances
The Tea City Council met March 2 and approved two ordinances. The council held two public hearings on ordinances. No one from the public was present to comment. Seniors honored at Marshall game
On Thursday, Feb. 19 the Tea Area High School girls’ basketball team took on Marshall and suffered the 70—42 loss. With the loss Tea Area ended a three-game home win streak. Marshall came in with a 21-4 record and is ranked fourth in Minnesota. Renli looks to preserve Lincoln County history through new organization

School board holds regular, special meetings in February
The Tea Area School Board held their regular board meeting on Feb. 16 and a special meeting on Feb. 19.
