Neff finishes first in category for S.D. Jr. Duck Stamp

Bria Shay Neff, a home schooled Tea second grader, has been announced as the first place winner of the 2015 South Dakota Junior Duck Stamp Contest in the kindergarten through third grade category. As part of the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program, kindergarten through twelfth grade students learn about wetland and waterfowl conservation. Each spring, the curriculum culminates into a nationwide art contest. South Dakota entered the program in 1993. Over 10,000 students have participated in the state contest so far.
