Inaugural Titan Invite: Conrad earns spot at State in Triple Jump


The Tea Area High School track and field teams were able to experience competing at a home track meet for the first time in school history on Tuesday, Apr. 21. Despite windy conditions, the Titans turned in some good performances. Vermillion, Dakota Valley and Tea all competed in the meet.

On the track, all times are fully automatic times (FAT). Freshman Mikayla Wevik took the number one spot in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.16. Freshman Mariah Schroder placed third in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:45.53. Cayley Schmitt finished with a first place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:35.23. Sophomore Tyra Klarenbeek placed third with a time of 2:56.02.
