Huck Finn to rebuild after fire

The Huck Finn Painting Co. burned down in Februrary and is about to be rebuilt on the same site near the airport.

Site plans for the Huck Finn Painting Company were reviewed and approved at the Tea City Council’s Monday meeting. The company is rebuilding after a devastating fire made their previous building a total loss in February.

Owner Dave Hennies says he hopes to reopen between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. The new building will sit at the same location as the old one, along Linda Avenue in the Hagedorn Industrial Park, southwest of the Marv Skie-Lincoln County Airport.
