Wayne Larsen honored for community service efforts

Secretary of Education Melody Schopp presented the ASBSD Community Service award to Larsen in recognition of his dedication to the Tea Area School District.

Former Tea Area School Board member Wayne Larsen was recently honored by the Associated School Boards of South Dakota for his commitment to enhancing the Tea Area School District.

Larsen was presented the ASBSD Community Service Award, which is given to individuals or groups serving their local school district in exemplary fashion, at the 2015 ASBSD-SASD Convention.
