Joy Zuraff can touch someone’s neck and shoulders and tell within a minute if that person is knotted up and needs a massage.
It’s a talent she’s turned into a business, Serendipity Massage, which opened June 13 at the
corner of Heritage Parkway and Kevin Drive.
“We found a great location in a growing city, that we thought would benefit from the services we are offering,” said Zuraff, a licensed masseuse who trained at South Dakota School of Massage Therapy in Sioux Falls.
Serendipity offers 30-minute and 1-hour massages. They’ll add facials, waxing, spray tans and health body wraps in mid-July.
“My favorite part of the job is helping others feel better –when a client tells me how much better they feel after a massage,” said Zuraff, who co-owns the business with her mom, Dianne Swenby.
