Johnson and Wevik to reign over Titan Homecoming


Monday, Sept. 25th Mikayla Wevik was crowned Homecoming Queen and Dawson Johnson was crowned King at the Tea Area High School Coronation Ceremony (pictured above). The evening not only included the crowning of this year’s homecoming royalty but also special music from the Tea Area High School Concert Choir, Concert Choir Quartet and the TAHS Band.

The candidates for royalty also included Emily Christensen, Madison Christensen, Cari Hansen, Grace Hayworth, Kaylee Panning, Blake Ensz, Nash Johnson, Seth Kocer, and Hunter Otten. The Homecoming Court was introduced by Brittley Minnaert and Noah Freidel. The Coronation Carriers were Kinslee Clark, Liam Beynon, Kallie Breuer, and Briggs Krell.

Homecoming festivities continue this week for the Tea Area School District. The community is reminded to come out to show their school spirit on Friday afternoon for the parade which will begin at 1:30 p.m.

The parade route starts at the Tea Area High School and will head east on Brian St., then south on Main Ave., then west on Charish St., finally head north back to the High School on Cole Ave.
