Tea Area Community Fund awards grants

The Tea Area Community Fund recently awarded $7,300 in grants to help local nonprofit organizations.

“Year after year, we receive grant applications for meaningful projects, needs and opportunities that will enhance the quality of life in our community. This year was no exception,” TACF President Sandy Cheney said. “We thank the many businesses and individuals who have contributed to our endowment fund. As a result, we’ll be able to support many worthy projects like these in all the years to come.”

Committee members awarded this year’s grants April 21 during their annual meeting. This is the 13th year that the TACF, an endowment fund of the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, has funded grants to support projects that benefit and enhance the quality of life for Tea area residents. The presentation took place at Tea City Hall.
