Golfers earn Region runner up honors - Entire team qualifies for State

For the fifth year in a row, the Tea Area High School boys’ golf team will be bringing their entire team to the State Tournament.

On Monday, Sept. 24 the Titans traveled to the Two Rivers Golf Course in North Sioux City to compete in the Region 2A Golf Tournament with 45 golfers competing for the right to go to the 2018 State A Golf Tournament.

Tea Area’s Brock Murphy led the way for the Titans, tying for third place with a score of 77. A ninth place finish by Eric Munson and a 12th place finish by Cooper Leslie helped lead the Titans to a second place finish at Regions, qualifying the entire team for the State Tournament.
