New Postmaster takes reins at Tea Post Office

Those heading over to the Tea Post Office to pick up some stamps or to send off a parcel might notice a new face around the building. Ryan Stadem recently had started working at the Tea Post Office and is now the new Postmaster.

Stadem was born and raised in Dell Rapids and currently lives in Sioux Falls, which is where he originally started his postal career at the Sioux Falls Downtown Station as a City Letter Carrier back in 2014. He has three daughters and two grandsons, is a member of the US Army Reserve, and is a music and travel lover.

Stadem originally had a completely different career than the field he is in now. He spent the beginning of his career teaching K-12 band and choir before moving on into the realm of business in 2004. Stadem originally received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Northern State University in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration from Colorado Technical University in 2005.
