Municipal Election in Tea Tuesday, April 9

A Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 in Tea. The election polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall, 600 E. 1st St.Citizens will have a chance to cast their vote for a council member in Ward III, on the ballot will be Chellee Unruh and incumbent Chuck Ortmeier.Running unopposed in Ward I and Ward II are Sidney Munson and Casey Voelker. All positions are two year terms. If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.Any voter who needs assistance, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may contact the municipal finance officer at 605-498-5193 before the election for information on polling place accessibility for people with disabilities.Questionnaires were sent to both candidates, answers begin at right and continue inside.
