Local business plays vital roll in classic car display
Eighteen 1936 Ford cars from the Joe Floyd collection will be on display at the Early Ford V8 Foundation Museum in Auburn, Ind., starting this week.
Tea’s Straightlines Custom Restoration, Inc. played a large part in restoring those cars. Straightlines restored eight or nine of them fully and did at least some work on each of the rest of the collection.
Tom Olsen, Straightlines’ advertising rep, and Straightlines owners Marty and Jodi Anfinson flew to Indiana May 9 to see the collection in place in a 1930s Ford dealership setting.
The collection includes two- and four-door touring sedans with and without trunks, a three-window coupe, a five-window coupe, a woody, a four-door convertible, a delivery vehicle, a pickup, a rare stainless steel and a German Glaser.
