tLINK event set for Aug. 11
As parents and guardians look ahead to the first day of school, one community group is thinking about collecting supplies for those who may need them.
tLINK invites the public to join them at the Tea City Park for s’mores as they collect school supplies for children in need in the community on Sunday, Aug. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Roast your marshmallows on open fire pits, grab a lawn chair or blanket and chat with your neighbors or make new friends.
The group will be collecting crayons, markers, folders, pencils, kleenex, Clorox wipes and any other supplies that will come in handy as they support Tea students.
The organization tLINK was formed in the spring of 2018, with the mission to bring the community together by building relationships, taking action and providing education services for the entire community.
