90 Titans youth wrestlers participate in District Tourney

The Tea Youth Wrestling Club participated in the District AAU Wrestling Tournament on Mar. 7 in Lennox. A total of 436 wrestlers competed from Tea, Brandon Valley, West Central, Lennox, Parker, and five Sioux Falls schools.

Out of the 90 Titan wrestlers who participated, Tea placed 81 wrestlers in the top eight. Each of these wrestlers qualified for the Region 5 Tournament, which will be held at Sioux Falls Washington High School on Saturday, Mar. 14. This group includes 24 first-place finishers, 12 seconds, 15 thirds, eight fourths, nine fifths, seven sixths, four sevenths, and two eighth-place finishers.

With 81 region qualifiers, the Tea Youth Wrestling Club will have the highest number of participants among the 26 teams represented at Region 5.
