Choir students find success at Contest

Tea Area High School Choir students recently participated in the Region II – Vocal Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Augustana University on Monday, March 6. Of the 33 events that students prepared for contest there were 13 Superior Solo, 16 Superior Ensemble, 1 Excellent Solo, and 3 Excellent Ensemble ratings. Five of the ensembles received perfect scores.

“Congratulations to our Titan singers, we are proud of their hard work in preparing for contest,” said TAHS Choir and Music Appreciation Director, Janice Gilbert.
