Community enjoys painted Pickleball Court, thanks to Tea Area Community Foundation

Faith Poppens, Sam Larsen, and Shannon Larsen were spotted engaging in an exhilarating game of pickleball on the recently revitalized court in the Tea city park.

The transformation of the tennis court into a pickleball haven was made possible through the generous support of the Tea Area Community Foundation, which funded the project by providing essential funds for the painting of court lines.

As residents enjoy the newly upgraded facility, the Tea Area Community Foundation is gearing up for Giving Tuesday on November 28. This annual day of philanthropy encourages community members to contribute to local causes and initiatives.

The Foundation is inviting residents to consider giving back to support future projects like this.

To contribute to the Tea Area Community Foundation and participate in the spirit of Giving Tuesday, interested individuals can find more information on the foundation’s Facebook page. Additionally, donations can be made by mailing a check to PO Box 153, Tea, SD 57064.

This collaborative effort between the community and the Tea Area Community Foundation exemplifies the positive impact that can be achieved through local initiatives and charitable contributions.
