The Tea Area Community Foundation pursues opportunities to improve lives and strengthen our community.
The third Thursday of every month from 5-6PM, free food is distributed to those preregistered. This is a joint effort of Feeding South Dakota and Trinity Lutheran Church. About 200 families receive fresh fruits and vegetables, staples, dairy products and protein each month. The Tea Area Community Foundation granted the distribution $2,500 to purchase gift cards valued at $10 for either gas or additional groceries to supplement a distribution this summer.
If you would like to contribute to the Foundation to help award grants to organizations in the future, please send your tax deductible donation to TACF PO Box 153 Tea, SD 57064 or log on to www.sfacf/tea.
