Former Tea resident crowned 2026 USA Ambassador Mrs.

A former Tea resident and Tea Area High School graduate is celebrating a national pageant title after being crowned 2026 USA Ambassador Mrs. on Saturday, July 25, in Orlando, Florida.
Caitlin Mohr earned the title through the U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant, a charity-driven organization focused on promoting success through leadership, integrity, character and confidence among women.
Founded in 2010 by mother-daughter team Barbara and Kristin Thurston, the U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant encourages contestants and titleholders to use their platforms to serve as ambassadors in their communities. The organization has donated to more than 100 charitable organizations across the country and continues to support Big Brothers Big Sisters as its National Charity Beneficiary.
As part of the competition, contestants participated in interview, USA fashion wear, evening gown and onstage conversation categories.
Mohr also competed in several optional competitions, earning wins in spokes model, photogenic glamour, runway modeling and state costume. She was also named first runner-up in fit and fab.
Her success in the optional competitions earned Mohr the highest combined point total, resulting in her being crowned Star Ambassador.
During her year as USA Ambassador Mrs., Mohr plans to focus on a cause close to her heart through her backpack program, Home to Home A Backpack to Hold. The program provides backpacks filled with essential items to children in the foster care system.
Mohr plans to use her title to expand the program’s reach and work with companies and small businesses to provide support to children and families in communities throughout Nebraska and South Dakota, as well as across the United States.
As she begins her year as USA Ambassador Mrs., Mohr said she looks forward to using the opportunity to make a difference through service and partnerships in the communities she represents.
