Homecoming Parade Sept. 24



Homecoming festivities begin next week, Sept. 20, the theme this year is “Face off”.

Coronation will take place on Monday night, Sept. 20 at the high School Gym, beginning at 7 p.m. One of the highlights of that event is the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen. This year’s royalty court includes: Ryan Del Monaco, Connor Eimers, Cael Lundin, Jaxon Weber, Jeff Worth, Brooke Deckert, Cassidy Gors, Kaitlin Kuhnert, Rujeen Shibly, and Grace Stansbury.

There will be special events, regular Titan games, and dress-up days throughout the week as well.

The Tea Area Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, September 24 at 1:30 p.m. Parade line-up will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Tea Area Middle School parking lot. Please use the far west entrance. Parade line-up will occur in the order in which floats arrive.

Participants and spectators should note that candy may be thrown from walkers on all streets except on Cole. Participants are asked to not throw candy from moving vehicles. School administration is requesting participants not throw candy on Cole Ave. as the TASK students will be sitting along this street.

The parade route is featured above, and will move east on Brian Street from the Middle School, head south on Main Ave., west on Charish Street and north on Cole Ave.

Following Friday afternoon’s parade the Sports Boosters Fundraiser Tailgator will take place Friday at 4:30 p.m. until halftime at the Middle School Parking Lot. The Titan Football game vs Watertown will kick-off at 7 p.m.
