McNaughton records an Eagle at State Golf

Tea Area High School’s Izzy McNaughton showcased her skills at the State A Golf Tournament held at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Rapid City on Monday, June 5, and Tuesday, June 6. McNaughton finished the tournament tied for 27th place after two days of intense competition.
On the opening day, McNaughton recorded a score of 98. On June 6, McNaughton started the second round with an impressive Eagle on the par five second hole, holing out a remarkable shot from a distance of 77 yards.
McNaughton’s achievement of scoring an Eagle placed her among an elite group of only four girls who accomplished this feat throughout the Tournament.
Having qualified for the state tournament for two consecutive years, McNaughton has established herself as a formidable golfer. With her junior and senior years still ahead of her, she aims to continue her streak of success in the coming years, leaving a lasting mark on Titan golf.
