Sabers Insurance Team claims Tea Pot Dayz Summer Open title

The Tea Pot Dayz Summer Open golf tournament, hosted by the Tea Area Titans Sports Boosters, was held Friday, June 19, at Lenkota Country Club in Lennox as part of the annual Teapot Days celebration.

Golfers from across the area gathered for a day of friendly competition, community involvement, and support for Tea Area student activities. The tournament serves as one of several events to help raise funds for the Tea Area Titans Sports Boosters and its programs.

Claiming top honors at this year’s tournament was the team from Sabers Insurance, which earned the title of Teapot Days Summer Open Champions. Members are pictured above. 

Following the event, the Tea Area Titans Sports Boosters expressed their appreciation to everyone who helped make the tournament a success.

“We would like to thank our amazing golfers, volunteers, and generous sponsors for their support,” the organization said in a statement. “We would also like to extend a special recognition to Jon Powell and Chad Meyer for their tireless efforts and commitment to ensuring the tournament’s success.”
