Santa to visit Tea Community Library Dec. 11

Santa will be at the Tea Community Library, Saturday, Dec 11th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Tea Community Librarian Gayla Wipf said they will have cookies, face painting and a coloring contest.

“Yes, a coloring contest,” she said. “We have three age categories for the contest. Ages 3-5, 6-8 and 9-11. Please pick up a coloring sheet the day of Santa or during the library regular business hours for your chance to win a Barnes and Noble gift card. We will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for each age category and the winners will receive either a $25, $15 or $10 prize. All entries need to be handed in by Dec 20th and the winners will be notified on Dec 21st. Please put your name, address and phone number on each entry. Only one coloring sheet entry per child, please.”

Tea Community Library’s regular business hours are: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Wipf added, “Come and join us for this fun event! I know Santa already has his elves busy making lots of toys. Don’t forget your list, kids! Santa can’t wait to hear from all you! Santa has been making a stop at the Tea Community Library for 15+ years and he said he loves coming to see all of you. He told me the library is one of his favorite spots to visit!
