The Tea Chamber for Development will kick off the third season of its popular Saturday in the Park community market this Saturday, July 18, at Tea City Park.

The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature local vendors, food trucks, live music and family-friendly activities designed to bring the community together while supporting local businesses.

Visitors can browse a variety of vendors offering handmade goods, boutique items, fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods and other locally made products. The market also features Kid Biz, giving young entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase and sell their creations.

Families are encouraged to attend, with free bounce houses available for children, along with Tea City Park’s new playground. Organizers also plan a variety of rotating attractions throughout the season, including activities such as fishing, dunk tanks and other family entertainment.

Food trucks scheduled for the July 18 event include The Corndog Company, Heavenly Foods, and Coffee & More. Live music will be provided by Amy Ellsworth, sponsored by Jensen Insurance.

Saturday in the Park is hosted by the Tea Chamber for Development and is held on the third Saturday of each month from July through October. In addition to shopping local businesses and crafters, visitors can find seasonal flowers, fresh bread and locally grown produce, with availability varying throughout the season.

Admission is free, and organizers invite residents and visitors alike to spend the morning enjoying local shopping, food, music and community fellowship in Tea City Park.
