Stange, Bullis to reign over 2026 Homecoming festivities

Monday night, Sept. 14 Tea Area High School held their annual Coronation ceremony. 

The evening opened with the band and cheerleaders providing pre-event entertainment. Lily Graham and Zaiden Johnson welcomed everyone.

The Kronos Concert Choir sang the Star Spangled Banner and entertainment was provided by the Titan Dance Team and a duet was performed by Riley Clark and Mr. Kevin Clark. Avianna Steen sang “River Deep Mountain High” and Adam Waldner and Samuel Bullis presented a Homecoming video. 

The highlight of the night was the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen by last year’s royalty Jaycie Babb and Brenner Konrad. Crowned the 2026 Queen was Elizabeth Stange. Crowned the 2026 King was Samuel Bullis. 

Other Royalty candidates for 2026 included Abby Boom, Addison Brech, Avery Franzen, Anna Somsen, Hayden Bialas, Kade Korleski, Gavin Shawd, and Grifin Wiebenga. 

Homecoming week festivities wrap up this weekend. 

On Friday, Sept. 18 a Pep Rally will be held at the high school at 11:30 a.m. The Tea Area Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, Sept. 18 at 1:30 p.m. Parade line-up will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the on the north end of the high school parking lot.

The parade route (pictured at right) will move East on Brian, South Main Ave, West on Holly St., North on Cole (returning to the high school parking lot Southwest entrance by the ticket booth). Following Friday afternoon’s parade the Tailgating will begin in the high school parking lot at 4 p.m. featuring a variety of food trucks. The Titan football game against Sturgis will kick-off at 6 p.m. that evening.
