TBA to host Titans of the Diamond Tournament this weekend

The Tea Baseball Association is hosting the inaugural Titans of the Diamond Tournament May 29-31 at the Tea Athletic Complex. In addition to TBA teams in 3rd-6th grade, the tournament is bringing in teams from Pierre, Sioux City, Harrisburg, Vermillion, Brandon, Sioux Falls and West Central. Games will be played on fields B, C, D and F Friday-Sunday. A complete game schedule can be found at teaparkandrecreation.com/tba. Scores will be updated throughout the weekend. 

The public is encouraged to come out and enjoy great baseball and cheer on the local teams. Friday night’s games feature Tea’s 5th and 6th grade teams and there is no gate fee. Saturday sees pool play continue all day with all teams playing. Daily entrance is $10 per adult, $5 for seniors and is free for all children 18 and under.

Tournaments like this are a great way to showcase the Tea community, from the top-notch Athletic Complex to the local businesses that will benefit from visitors spending money in the community. Good luck to all Titan teams this weekend!
