Tea Area students participate in All-State Chorus and Orchestra

The 72nd annual SDHSAA All-State Chorus and Orchestra was held Nov. 1 - 2 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Participating schools from across the state of South Dakota are allotted a number of quartets based on their school enrollment in grades 9-11 for the All State Chorus. The finale concert will re-air on SDPB on Thanksgiving Day. Students chosen to represent Tea Area in the All-State Chorus are pictured above and include, from left to right, (back row): Kairis Thomas, Avianna Steen, Gracelynn Preheim, Ashlyn Karpinen, Kimberlee Brockberg, Daphne Decker; (middle row): Samuel Bullis, Jacob Birger, Isaac Bullis, Mathew Birger, Gavin Kolbeck; (front row): Jonathan Schlunsen. The three students selected from Tea Area for the All-State Orchestra are pictured at below and include: Madalyn Havlin (flute), Kassidy Wranek (trumpet), and Claire Hyronimus (French horn).
