Tea Area takes first at Tri-State Festival

On Saturday, Sept. 27 the Tea Area High School Marching Band competed at the 74th annual Tri-State Band Festival in Luverne, MN. 

In Class AAA, Tea Area earned first place in the parade competition. They also competed in field, where they earned Outstanding Drum Major. 

The Parade Sweepstakes went to Tea Area High School as well, along with the K.M. Getman Award.

The Tea Area High School Marching Band will compete at the Menno Marching Festival in Menno, SD on Friday, October 3. They will compete at the Festival of Bands in Sioux Falls, SD on Saturday, October 4, at the March to the Meridian in  Yankton, SD on October 11, at Quad State in Vermillion, SD on October 18, and will hold their Marching Band Finale Concert in Tea on October 20.
