On the evening of September 9, Tea Fire Department had the opportunity to do a controlled burn on a house. Tea Fire reported that there are many factors that go into pre-planning when doing one of those, for example, hose and rig setup, wind, protection of other buildings and trees, just to name a few. They reported it was a great learning experience — getting to watch fire behavior and how it spread through the house. Photo above from Tea Fire Facebook page.
