Tea take over on the Levitt Lawn

Next Friday, June 28th at the Levitt at the Falls “Sounds Like Summer” Country concert series will feature current Tea residents for both the Opening Act and Headliner!  Analisa Marie will take the stage at 7 p.m. and Janice Gilbert will perform at 8 p.m. Both musicians are songwriters and each of their performances will feature original music in the Country genre.

Gilbert was first contacted in November by Levitt Executive Director Nancy Halverson.

“I was shocked when I read her email!”, says Gilbert. “Nancy said, ‘I know I’ve only seen you perform solo but I know you could put together a killer band and headline for our Country series’ and I just thought there’s no way I could pass this up!”

“When they asked me about ideas for an Opening Act, I immediately thought of Analisa!” says Gilbert.  “Analisa’s smooth country vocals and nostalgic, relatable storytelling in her songs really draws the audience in and I’m excited to be a part of this event with her.”

Both Analisa and Janice have been Opening Acts for the Levitt in previous seasons; Analisa in 2021, and Gilbert in 2022 and 2023.

Two days after the Levitt show, Gilbert will also be the Opening Act at the Washington Pavilion for 90’s Country Superstar, Deana Carter, the singer of such iconic hits as “Strawberry Wine” and “Did I Shave My Legs for This?”

“I’m just so grateful for these opportunities! I never dreamed I’d be headlining at the Levitt with a full band or opening for one of my childhood role models! This really is a moment that’s been years in the making.” says Gilbert.
