Tempo teams compete at US Club Midwest Regionals in Chicago

Tempo Soccer Club took two teams to the US Club Midwest Regional Tournament in Chicago on June 17-20.

The U19 Tempo Thunderbolt boys advanced to the semi-finals after going 2-0-1 in pool play and lost a close match to FC Lake County 1-2.

The U15 Tempo Rain girls went 1-1-1 and came up second in their pool and did not advance to the semi-final round.

Both teams feature many players from Tea. On the boys team Tea athletes include Tobin Hoffman, Tanner Meyers, Tyler Duffy, Nick Look, Ashdan Farrell, and Ryan Del Monaco. On the girls’ team Tea athletes include Zoe Kreisler, Elli Clayberg, Kendra Nielson, Heidi Hofer, Sage Hoffman, and Abigail Munson.

Several Tempo club teams will be competing again at the USA Cup in Blaine, MN which will be held this weekend, July 8-10. They will finish up the season in Brookings, SD on July 15-17.

If you are interested in competing with the Tempo Soccer Club, try-outs for players born between 2004-2011 will be held July 11 and 12 at the old Avera Dome, located at 1601 West 44th Street, Sioux Falls. Boys and girls born 2011-2012 will try out from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. both days, July 11-12. Boys and girls born 2009-2010 will try out from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. both days and boys and girls born 2008-2004 will try out from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., both days.
