Third graders win Big Sioux Championship

The third grade Tea Titans Basketball team played in the Big Sioux Youth Basketball League Tournament on March 10th in Harrisburg. Tea Titans played a Harrisburg team winning 42-8, which advanced them to play the Hills Beaver Creek team. The Titans outplayed them getting the 40-2 win to advance to the championship game against the Harrisburg Legends. The Titans continued their undefeated year, by becoming Big Sioux Champions, earning the Championship title with a score of 41-36.
The third grade Tea Titans Basketball team is made up of Brooks Deutsch, Burke VanLaecken, Hank Nixon, Henry Ryan, Kaceyn Karskey, Miles Mayer, Rory Westhoff, and Treyson Moses. The team was coach by Ty and Karna Nixon and Sarah VanLaecken.
