Titan softball team falls to Warriors

On Thursday, Apr. 10 the Tea Area High School softball team hosted the Sioux Falls Washington Warriors. Tea Area led 2-1 after the first inning but the Warriors went on a scoring frenzy, capitalized by an 11 run seventh inning, giving them the 15-2 win. For the Titans, Kalli Boom and Kaylyn Hall had two hits each. Preslie Benning and Morgan Sehr each had one hit. Handling pitching duties for the Titans was Kaylyn Hall who pitched six innings. She allowed nine hits and seven runs while recording two strike-outs. Coming in in relief were Morgan Sehr and Ahryana Drake. Sehr allowed six hits, seven runs and Drake allowed two hits, one run and recorded one strike-out.
They will be home on Apr. 17 at 4 p.m. against Brandon Valley.
