Titan wrestlers find success at Tri-Valley, Harrisburg Invites

On Thursday, Jan. 15 the Tea Area High School boys wrestling team competed at Pierre, taking on both Pierre and Watertown. 

The Titans fell to Watertown 48-28 and to Pierre 60-12.

On Saturday, Jan. 17 the Titan boys competed in the Tri-Valley Invitational. Earning first place at 132 pounds was Tea Area’s Slater Wilson. Aaron Halbur took second at 120 pounds. Claiming third place was Trevin Audiss at 150 pounds and Jaeden Waltner at 215 pounds. Jeremiah Wilgers took fourth at 175 pounds; Kyler Audiss took fifth at 120 pounds; and Anders Munoz (113 pounds), Jackson Herbek (132 pounds) and Trevor Cordell (157 pounds) each took sixth.

Aliyah Steveson took second at 100 pounds and Emery Voelker claimed second at 125 pounds. In JV action, Charlie Herrboldt took second at 140 pounds. Complete results are as follows:
