Titans defeat Lennox, West Central with strong pitching

Despite the rain coming down, the Tea Area Titan baseball team traveled to Lennox to face off against the Orioles. With strong pitching on both sides, the Titans emerged victorious winning, 2-1.

Nathan Babb was the winning pitcher for Tea. Babb surrendered one run on two hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six. Nate Christensen threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Christensen recorded the last out to earn the save for the Titans.

Ethan Vis, Sam Werdel, and Clayton Schwebach all had one hit to lead Tea Area.

On Monday, Apr. 24 the Titans traveled to West Central and defeated the Trojans, 3-1. Clayton Schwebach led things off on the mound for the Titans. He surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out nine.

Tea Area racked up seven hits on the day. Teagan Dedula and Carter Turek each managed two hits to lead the Titans’ offense.
