The Titans, who came into Super Regional play as the #8 Seed, will return to the “Birdcage” in Sioux Falls, almost one year after being crowned the Class B State Champions last season on the same field.

In Game #1 of the Super Regional versus Sturgis, the Titans bats started hot and never let up, scoring seven runs in the second inning and six runs in the third, en route to a 15-0 victory over the Scoopers.

Sam Werdel and Carter Turek each added extra base hits with a triple and double respectively.

On the mound, Boston Willemssen made quick work of the Scoopers,  going the distance, giving up just one hit, while striking out four.

In Game #2 on Thursday afternoon, Clayton Schwebach controlled the game on the mound for the Titans, pitching six innings, giving up no runs, on one hit, while striking out a career high 14 batters, leading to a 9-1 victory.

Offensively Mason Schramm and Cole Mckinney lead the attack with two hits each, Schramm drove in three of the Titans runs, while, McKinney drove in two.  Nate Christensen and Schwebach each added hits in the contest.

The Titans will be the #6 Seed in the State Tournament, matching up against the #3 Seed, Brandon Valley Lynx.
