Titans volleyball season underwayFall to SFC, defeat West Central

On Thursday, Aug. 24 the Tea Area High School volleyball team opened their season on the road against Sioux Falls Christian. The Titans battled hard but ultimately fell 0-3 (16-25, 13-25, and 9-25).

For Tea Area, Julia Haack and Anaya Connors each finished the night with four kills. Mara Grant had one.

Kya Haynes had two aces served in the match.

Kalli Boom led the team in digs with nine. Claire Hank had six.

Hank led the team in set assists with 14 against the Chargers.

The Titans traveled to West Central on Tuesday, Aug. 29 and earned the 3-0 victory, winning 25-15, 25-15, and 25-20.

The Titans were scheduled to host Harrisburg on Thursday, Aug. 31.

They will be on the road on Tuesday, Sept. 5 when they travel to Brookings. On Sept. 7 they host Dell Rapids and on Sept. 12 they host Sioux Falls Jefferson.
