The South Dakota Jr. Football 5th/6th Grade American Fence team capped off a hard-fought season with an impressive playoff run.  After qualifying for the Flight IV bracket, the team battled through three consecutive wins to claim the Flight IV Championship. The Tea Area Middle School Team capped off a great season by winning their division in the Middle School Fall Ball end of season tournament.  The team, which was composed of seventh and eighth graders, put together a fantastic season finishing 9-3. They went undefeated in the tournament, and were led with strong pitching, defense, and timely hitting to win their division.  They faced teams throughout the eastern part of South Dakota, and finished with a 5-3 win over Yankton.

South Dakota Jr. Football 3/4th grade Pee Wee I Championship game was the 116-Tea and 117-Cosand Construction Company. The two hometown teams played at Augustana University Football Field on Oct 25.  Families and friends filled the stands cheering on their Titans. Both sides played their best and showed great teamwork. On Thursday, Oct. 23 the Tea Area High School football team traveled to Howard Wood for their final regular season game against Sioux Falls Washington. Washington struck first, scoring a 67 yard passing touchdown. The extra point was no good. They scored again before quarter’s end, this time on a 25 yard pass. The Tea Area Titans concluded their 2025 campaign this Saturday at the AA State Cross Country Meet in Huron. A total of 262 athletes from 20 AA schools competed in the race, with each school fielding a team of up to seven runners. The Titans turned in outstanding efforts on the day. On Friday, Oct. 17, the Tea Area High School football team traveled to Yankton to take on the 6-2 Bucks. Yankton scored twice in the opening quarter — a 36-yard field goal and a 72-yard touchdown. The Watertown Civic Arena is the site for the nineteenth annual state competition for cheer and dance.
